Adventures!

Zion- our strong leader, our amazing baba to many. God has given him a lot to do here and we thank the Lord for the wisdom and strength every day! Please pray for Zion as sometimes all of this seems too much for one person. May the Lord send good help.
Just our fun helmet baby! She is hilarious with our motorbike helmet on!

Come with us as we head to church!
Time for children's church! The Lord is bringing His children to come hear His Word.
Ian sharing a Bible verse.

Lucy loves to play with any water anywhere!
All the children absolutely love playing after church at the playground and in the field playing soccer.
Zion caught a bird for everyone to check out! Doesn't God make these creatures in amazing ways?! I have always wanted to fly like a bird!

Oooo! Check out that bird! The bird was probably scared out of his mind!

I enjoy reading some storybooks to the children like Donna was doing with them. Books are hard to come by here so when they can hear a story and see the pictures they soak it all in! What a blessing we have had so many people send books here to share with these children!

Dixon reading his Bible. This young man loves to share what God does for him each week with the whole church.

Sharing lunch with everyone! As you can see this whole set of pictures is from a while ago because Donna left the end of last month! I can't believe how time is flying by here. We are so thankful for God providing enough food for us to share with the community children about once a month.

 Hungry tummies being filled up!

After a good lunch we all headed out for a field trip to the amazing waterfall not too far from our house. Most of these children have lived in the area their whole life and had never been to the waterfall! It was a sight to see and a fun adventure hike!

Lucy just kept saying, "Wow!" She loves her water and wanted to go down and explore but it was starting to thunder sadly.

Here is the whole group of who went! Thank you Lord for your wondrous creation we got to experience!

Everyone stuck around after we got back from the waterfall for candy!

Duncan and Ian two guys that hope to go to high school next year!

We ended this full day with a sermon from Highlands Fellowship in Abingdon, VA. It was so refreshing to be encouraged by the message from America!

We thank you for keeping up with us and praying for us. We are so blessed to have you all in our lives!

Change is painful.

There has been a lot of hard but good change going on here.

We had prayed and asked the Lord to direct us as we felt Him asking us to jump out of the boat and take a huge leap of faith. The last time I wrote on the blog was about a month ago. Just after that post we took that big leap that has helped our big family grow and become closer and better.

We had to fire two of our caregivers the same day. They were not creating family unity and were spreading lies. They were stealing from the children and just doing the bare minimum in their job. We had just observed everyone for about a month and a half before taking action. We wanted to investigate and make sure what we were being told from the children, neighbors and various people  was true. It sadly was true and I was heartbroken thinking we had left the children in good hands while we were in America for 2 years. I know the Lord can heal us and help us to move forward into a better life here. He has good plans through all of this.

God has given us this big family. We know we were brought back here for such a time as this so we can get our family back on the right track. Please pray with us through this transition and to be patient and loving towards each other. We love and appreciate you all!
