Last Minute

2017 is nearly over but it’s not too late to make your end year donation. You only have 12 more hours to make a tax-deductible donation. We pray that you will be able to consider making a donation to Grace Of God Children’s Project by the deadline of midnight of today, Jan. 31 for the 2017 tax year. All children start school on Tuesday and we are still praying for God to provide towards their school fees. We also start Grace Family Educational school on Tuesday.  We have already added five more teachers and hoping to have more students for the year 2018 this week.

We are so thankful that God continues to provide so we can continue to make an impact in the communities that we serve. Please check our website (http://www.graceofgodchildren.org) on how you can get involved in one way or another.  DONATE NOW and DONATE NOW

We are so proud of what we have accomplished in 2017 for His glory. We are grateful to you, our supporters, for making it happen. Happy New Year to all our Grace Family Supporters.

Merry Christmas

Jambo-Hello Grace Family prayer warriors and supporters,

It has been a while since we sent out an e-mail. We pray that you are doing wonderful in the Lord as we do here in Kenya! All the children are out of school for Christmas break. We would like to thank you for your support and prayers towards our ministry; it has been a blessing to have you as part of our Grace Family team for His glory. You are making a difference in the lives of many children and families. Your support provides children with food, clothing, school fees, and medical care that they may otherwise have lived without. In addition to meeting their physical needs, a central goal of this ministry is to provide education and spiritual discipleship to these children and families.
We have had many internal changes at Grace Family. We’ve had hard decisions and leaps of faith wondering what God is working here. As we have said in other letters, we feel God leading us to preserve families and that means connecting the children more with their relatives or guardians as we continue to meet their needs. Over their August and November breaks from school, most of the children visited where they came from. They loved connecting with their various family members and remembering where they came from. As a result, in the best interest of the children, we identified some of Grace family children who would do better staying with their families. It has been a strange transition as we missed them here but know they have needed their family. Everyone wants to belong somewhere.

In addition to reaching out to children, we have also touched many lives for Christ through our outreach projects. One of outreach projects to the community has been to regularly show Christian movies in our Educational Centre. Since we started our ministry here in Kenya, we have reached hundreds of souls for Christ, and we continue to pursue His calling. We thank you so much for your prayers and support. We couldn’t have done anything without your support and prayers (check out our blog: www.beesinkenya.blogspot.com for updates - this is where you can regularly see what is going on at GOGCC and our ministry in general.)

Our top two prayer and support needs here in Kenya at this point are child sponsorship, especially for their education, and expanding our Grace Family School.  We currently have seven children in High School, and it’s an average of $500 dollars per child per year to attend High School here in Kenya. Please pray with us. We also continue to expand our Grace Family School to meet the need of a quality education. We currently have three grade levels and hope to add some more teachers and students for the year 2018 in God’s will.

We are so thankful that God continues to provide so we can continue to make an impact in the communities that we serve. Please check our website (http://www.graceofgodchildren.org) on how you can get involved in one way or another.

Well! Christmas is around the corner and on behalf of Grace Family, we would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Lots of love from across the ocean,
David and Laurel Cheromei serving in Kenya, Africa
