Heading to the market to buy...

First time for Donna and Abbey to experience the market in Flax (a town about 15min drive from our home)

As you can see they sell clothes, material, shoes, belts, fruits and veggies, etc.

Women carrying firewood on their backs... a very common sight here.

You can even get dried sardines here! I have yet to try them....

Oranges, Avacados and Mangos

Indigenous fruit (lokoek in Kalenjin)
Tomatoes

Carrots

Onions, Tomatoes, Cabbage

Levi eating some banana
Donna and one worn out Levi from shopping at the market

We were all so hungry and tired after such an outing!

Bet you couldn't tell from behind that Moses was with us! This wrap is called a Moby and Moses slept in in the whole time! He loves to snuggle close! I used this wrap a lot with Levi when he was little.

Abbey and Donna both concluded from that trip that the market was quite overwhelming. So many people yelling at us to buy their things, a lot to look at and just take in. We were exhausted to say the least.
