2 fun care packages from my parents!

 Lily could not wait for the next day to open these fun boxes! The next day she was turning 4 (July 29th) and did not want to wait to open the presents!

 First they found bright colorful shirts for each child of Grace family!

 Then Lily found the ponies that Papa and Momo (my parents) sent for her birthday! She was so excited about all the accessories and long hair that the ponies have!

 They also sent a play hair dryer which is quite a hit as Lily wants to "dry" everything around here!

 Fun new clothes for her birthday! Lots of bright colors and PINK (which is her fav)!

 Lily found the candy in the box and was ecstatic dumping it all over the bed!

 Levi found the two movies that my parents sent- Cars 2 and Planes. Two fun Disney Pixar movies that we have thoroughly enjoyed already!

 Fun fish from my grandmother in SC for their bath time and monkeys to put around their necks!

 Delicious trail mix that is sadly now finished as I write this blog

 Also fun sock monkeys that have stretchy arms that you can shoot off and they make monkey sounds when they hit the floor!

Thank you Dad and Mom for all of these fun and wonderful gifts that you all gave to us! We have been enjoying all of the treats, clothes, toys, movies, etc! What blessings you have poured out!

Storm

Our cow named 5K passed away this week because of an outbreak in our area that caused the cow to have a fever and trouble breathing.

Our truck had an overhaul this past week. Where the engine was thoroughly cleaned and new parts were put in place. Shoo! Very expense but we thank The Lord it is running a lot smoother now and is ready for more road trips and hauling various things! It has been a challenging past few weeks; please keep the children and us in your prayers.

Walking and Exploring

 Went out for a bit on Sunday... just the four of us.

 Went to check on the overhaul of the truck... it has been with this great detail oriented mechanic for about a week now fixing all of the problems and just getting it back into good working order. Levi loved watching him work... Lily was a little bored with it!

 So since the truck is being worked on we walked across the fields to the tarmac to get a ride on a matatu (public transportation van) Lily and Levi loved it and were really good at walking there...

 As you can see Levi fell asleep on the walk back!

 Lily loves to find mushrooms!

 You can see the big house of Grace of God Chidlren's Centre if you look closely in the background!

 There are these little purple flowers that are edible and good for you... I was a little wierded by that so I did not eat but Baba and Lily were having a ball finding them!

 The next day, Monday we let one of our rabbits out... the kids petted it  A LOT!

 It sat their patiently like my rabbit I had when I was in high school... Wobbles. :)

 One day their chairs were turned into cars and they were racing around the house!

 Kids playing and cows and chickens eating.... this is life on a farm!

When Baba is busy during the week the only time we get to sit with him is at breakfast! They fight over their Baba and make it a challenging breakfast. I am thankful for a patient man. :)
