Blessings from a local church!

Roy-Nickson-Vincent-Dennis-Benard-Gideon-Victor-Ian-Eliud

A church surprised us one Sunday by bringing us potatoes, rice, vegetables, etc.! What a blessing it is! We thank the Lord for how He continually provides all our needs!

We sang some songs with them and prayed together! God is awesome how HE brings His body of Christ together!

A day to work with a Good Samaritan

I had a crazy day on Wednesday (Sept. 11th). You probably are asking yourself if this person in this picture is alive or not! Yes that was the exact thoughts I got when I saw this person. Men! We met this person being carried by about 8 people on top of two bags...down a steep hill. He was in a tractor accident where the breaks were not working and the driver not this man was trying to gear down but that did not work. The tractor was overloaded with potatoes and so the tractor overturned because the driver went in the bank to slow it down from the acceleration of the steep hill. The trailer hit the man and crushed the back of his skull and the neck. So I stopped and helped the Good Samaritan take this man to the local dispensary for medical help... They said he was in too critical condition and they did not have the supplies needed. So we took him in a very fast truck ride to the hospital in Eldoret about an hour away where the man who was hurt had to lie flat in the back of the truck with some cushioning and blankets and men around him to keep him in place on these crazy bumpy roads! I was driving about 100 mph or over through crazy traffic. Thank God it took us about an hour to get him to a bigger hospital in Eldoret. There are no ambulance here in Kenya to help during emergencies. I am so thankful to have a truck here to help others during such cases as much as we can. I don't know this person and I may not even meet him again but I pray that he made it. I prayed for him before we left the dispensary . God did miracles as by the time we arrived in Eldoret he was not unconscious anymore. He was already talking. God is good. Please I don't know how he is doing at this point but I wanted to share with you so you can keep him in your prayers.
Waiting at ER. It's crazy that you have to wait or stand in line even during critical situation like this. Kenya really need medical assistance in anyway possible.

Loving seeing these little ones interact!

Moses LOVIN'

 Moses is growing so well.
He no longer has chicken legs and is filling out well.
Lily loves to hold him any chance she gets.

Even Levi is enjoying holding little Moses!

we LOVE dirt!

You can catch Lily and Levi playing in the dirt most days... their grandparents even sent them some shovels which they really love! Sometimes even just sitting in the dirt brings joy to their hearts. I love how they play well together...usually!

And we were all YELLOW!

Birthday man started his day with a run!
Baba Jeru's birthday was today! What a blessing year it has been! God has given us so much and continually guides us as we serve Him!

We all wore yellow in honor of David's birthday!

My parents sent David and the little ones these bright yellow outfits to wear and we just had to all match on David's day!

The fun yellow family!!

TRUST

TRUST. A very important word. I feel like I can trust no one here except for David. I am suspicious of everyone here and on high alert since arriving. So many people that I have come across here or has worked at Grace of God Children's Centre in one way or another has lied, cheated, stolen or used this place for their own gains. I know we live in a fallen world but when people who you thought you could trust take advantage of you or your family or the children's home... there are SERIOUS problems. Please be in prayer with us that God would prevail through all of this...that the liars, cheaters, theives would be brought to justice. I am so sick of all this craziness!

We do have hope in the Lord! We want to thank all of you for your prayers, encouraging words, support, concern and love! We thank the Lord for putting YOU in our lives. You are special to us!
